Background
Oluwadara holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons), University of Exeter, UK, and was admitted into the Nigerian Bar in 2016. In August 2020 she obtained an LLM in Competition Law with Distinction from Queen Mary University of London. Oluwadara Omoyele joined SimmonsCooper Partners in 2017 and was promoted to Senior Associate in February 2023.

• Key member of the team working on the FCCPC-mandated competition compliance monitoring program for a multinational company, focusing on a company-wide competition compliance audit and developing a comprehensive competition-sensitive policy framework.

• Key member of the team advising a global private equity firm on the divestiture of its stake in a major oil and gas industry asset.

• Advised an FMCG company on its US$14,000,000 acquisition of a non-alcoholic beverages brand.

• Advised on minority acquisition for a financial/private equity investor in a telecommunications company, resulting in a 40% reduction in completion time.
